Welcome to the Collections Care Index
The world’s cultural resources are held in collecting institutions everywhere, yet few institutions have the tools or the knowledge to review their daily stewardship practices to ensure that the care they provide meets basic standards. The Collections Care Index is a free tool that helps to bridge the gap between what is learned and measuring practice. With constant vigilance, collecting institutions can prevent emergencies, damage and neglect.
